If there is an accident, don’t expect anything other than your car to be covered by the insurance. I have been happy with the price and time on both occasions that I have needed to ship a vehicle.

Like moving companies, car transport are all different, you will want to look at many before you decide. You will get a feel for one of the companies that you are researching.

By having your vehicle shipped, you will not have to worry about construction or weather conditions. Whether it is snow or rain, the weather can make travel a little rough. The bottom line here is that in driving a long distance you are exposing yourself to the possibility of encountering weather in which you are not adept at driving in. Factor the weather, plus the increase in the number of cars on the road, and you have a very hazardous trip ahead of you. Why risk the elements?

You will be looking at a thousand dollars minimum, once you figure the price of gas, the wear on your car and any stops, to eat or rest for the night. If you do your checking, I think you will find that shipping is going to be the better way. Do not get stuck into a service that will drive your vehicle, you will still have the mileage and wear on your car. You will be much happier when all is done, that you chose to have your vehicle shipped rather than driving it.
